Their bark was covered in moss, and the branches twisted as if trying to share their ancient secrets.Moonlight filtered through the leaves, casting whimsical shadows on the ground. Every step echoed in the silence, and I felt something unseen watching me. The air was thick with the scent of dampness and decay, mixed with something sweet and spicy that reminded me of long-forgotten memories.Suddenly, I noticed strange figures peeking out from behind the trees.
