Technical Support: FOTY votes
Since de FOTY 2018 has started my votes never show up in the chat of the model.
But it does say i have voted....

I have found that this is happening, but only with 1 specific model, it works with all the other models I vote for???
Is there a glitch in the system somewhere???
and is there any way of getting it fixed, and adding the votes that I have tried to do to the pool for him please? Quote

If you post here or email Customer Service the model you're concerned about not getting your vote we can double check and verify. We found a bug with displaying the message that was fixed, but the votes were still being counted.

Its Joe Ford! Hopefully the votes are still being counted, as other customers are able to vote for him, just mine didn't show up even when I did vote, so any confirmation would be great,

Thanks Jamie! So even though he won't see them, they will go through every day yh? I have voted for him every day since start (only 3 days but still!) so I can just keep voting and they will keep going through?

Bug should be fixed, and the models can see it in their backend by clicking on the individual days and seeing a list of each of the users who votes for them - so if the chat message gets missed for some reason they can always see them there. Feel free to test tomorrow and let us know if the message doesn't show - from our testing this afternoon however there are no longer any missing messages. Hope that helps clear it up!

Although this happened within the last 45 mins, I will test tomorrow, maybe a new day will reset something and mean it doesn't get missed tomorrow.

Thanks again Jamie! I am happy the votes are still going through! It would just be nice for other customers to know that their votes were going through and that the models could see who was voting without hunting for it!

No offense, but do we NEED to have our votes show up in the chat? As long as the model sees our votes from their end? I mean, we can tip anonymously (and the models know who tipped), we can boost anonymously (totally anonymously, I think...not sure if the models can see who sent them boost points)...can we also vote anonymously? Because, really, the only ones who need to know that we voted are us, the models, and the F4F server that is keeping track of the voting. So, can the vote either NOT show up in the chat, or show up as "an anonymous member has voted" or a similar message to the tipping?

But also, how many people are being discouraged from voting in certain models rooms because they don't see it happening on the chat feed, and therefore, neither does the model?

Which is why I asked/also suggested that it be handled like the anonymous tipping, with it showing up in chat but that member's name replaced with "anonymous".

It's working 100% of the time now after we identified the issue early in the evening PT last night. I haven't seen a single vote not go through since our last change.
