Jeffie, the procedure actually seems to work....up to now that is. Well wait an see how long it lasts.
Unfortunately have to correct myself: its not working at all ; sometimes only some models dissapear, sometimes all notifications have been deleted no matter if logged in, if multiple confirmation of the e-mail-address or if single confirmation after each addition the list is being done.
So what now?

P.S.: Hmmm...adding to the list by typing the names on the "On-Line-Notification"-page was possible (didnt prevent the the dissapearance lateron, though), going through the favourite-page not ("You have to be VIP-member...etc..etc..) Quote

My notifications have now been stable and working fairly well for a couple months
Are they working elsewhere or only downunder?....maybe the NSA has the fingers in the pudding for Germany

I was having issues with this all summer long. I sent a second email to customer service asking for help, and didn't receive a response. I decided to try it once more a few weeks ago, and much to my surprise my notifications began working again.
The only thing I found that was different was under the subscriptions tab, instead of having a few subscriptions checked they all were. Once I unchecked a few, the notifications were deleted again automatically. I then re-checked all the options again, and the notifications started back up. Give it try, it may work for you. Quote

cowboystyl24502 this is not the way to contact VS Customer Support, because they would regard this thread as dead and wouldn't be monitoring it. In fact they haven't posted to this thread at all
You need to contact them by email or phone Quote

Flirt4Free have said all along that the Technical Forum is primarily for members to discuss issues. They have never undertaken to respond to every issue raised here, and they would not be monitoring the forums looking for new questions such as the one cowboystyl24502 asked recently Quote

Where have they said that? I know sometimes it seems that way, but I don't remember anyone actually saying it. For account-specific issues they do recommended contacting customer service, and that makes sense. But my assumption is that they are watching this forum in particular to get advance/more information on potential system issues.

Thanks everyone!!! I think the Forums are great tool for Support team to look at and to give direction. Thanks for the advice of writing customer service. I did that as well however this is the place to post with Technical Support questions Who knows Flirt admin may look at this one day. Thanks again Cheers!!! Quote
