Technical Support: Screen names and what models can see
Hi All,
I was speaking to a model and it has become apparent that when using different screen names often certain features allows then to guess its still you.
From what I understand:
1) They can see VIP status for all screen names even if you hide you are a VIP...
2) if you sign up via their page - the icon that's shows them you did is seen by them with all new screen names - which is silly if you create a new screen name and its a higher rank but they still see its a user that signed up via their page.
3) You are giving the option to buy fan club as different screen names but the model sees the main account name so knows its the same person.
4) recently with the beta I noticed that when creating a new screen name and setting it as a reward level of 5 other users could still see the reward level as the main account reward level for example 20...
I like the idea that you can change the screen names so easily but it defeats the points if models can work out its the same guy so easily

Hi there, thanks for your reply. but you didn't actually answer my question or point - the settings I mention above are all not under our control - models can see you are a VIP - this can't be disabled (from what models have told me) , they can also see that you are a "conversion" eg somebody who signed up for an account via their chat room (as it is against the main account not the first screen name), and as mentioned when you sign up for a fan club membership you can choose which screen name to join up as, but the model is notified that the main account has signed up not the screen name. For example I have an account called bob, I create a screen name called tom and sign up to the models fan club as TOM. The model gets notified that BOB (main account not tom the screen name) has signed up to her fan club. All these options can't be controlled by settings under account information. Well I haven't found the option to....

No. As the OP mentioned, models still have the ability to see who is VIP - as well as premium, basic and guests in their rooms. Users changing their chat color from gold to white is meaningless as models will still be aware of the VIP status appearing under the username.
I don't think there has ever been a solution in trying to hide the VIP status although it has been discussed. Quote

Just assume that the models can find out everything about your activities on the site, independently under what name or rank you are appearing. So for me it makes no sense toi change names or ranks and it makes life less complicated.

If that is the case..whats the point in having privacy settings(to disable what the model can see) and being able to change your username - if they can see everything anyway?
