It would be nice, but also a first, if people could really speak for just themselves, instead of acting like self-anointed defenders of the public good, because who really cares about how the 'conversation' effects a somebody they don't even know?
All the bogus: oh it can be confusing for the new people, it costs the model money, or it detracts from the flow of the conversation crap is just that: crap.
if there wasn't this overriding need to know every finite detail about everybody else's business...

To quote do_ride: It is the act of (trying to foist some view of what makes normal chat) forcing your way on the rest of us that is bullying. Whether via passive aggressive behavior or overt act.

I dont much care if people whisper, I dont need to know and dont care to know their business but have always felt whispers are quite useful for serious users to cut through the bs and communicate intention with the model. Conversations in most rooms are all over the board with models answering questions well after they were posed, while 30 lines or more of "show me" text and a dozen more each on a different subject have gone skipping by. To 'argue' that these 'conversations' are any more or less confusing or change the models cash flow (how the heck would you know?) because 'you' perceive there are minimal or no whisperers is preposterous.

The site was a better site without the whisper, so I do hope your findings turn out to find that whispering is damaging the site. Thanks for testing it out :thumbsup

Reality is anything that needs to be said in private to a performer can be taken private (that is the whole point of the site) or an email can be sent, all other forms of open room chat in a public chat room is not private and we see half the conversation anyway when the performer replies and is easy to figure out what is said by the other person.

As I said above the site was more fun before without whisper and the argument about not wanting to talk to other "dudes" is simple to cure, just don't talk to them and talk to the performer if you feel that way. The thing that makes the site fun is all the people in the room not just the performers, some rooms are a lot of fun because of the customers in them and many performers get attention that they may not have because others see it is a fun room and they hang about and get to like the performer and see why the room is fun and people stay there. This is old style flirt4free at its best when it worked that way. Whisper hides all this and makes the models look like they are talking to themselves to new people that visit the site. Anyway lets see how it goes, I will miss the whispser too but I would rather have the fun rooms back and i'm sure many people agree that knew the site in its old format.

Ok, I'm going to put in my input to this forum hoping to be heard. I definatly do NOT like the no whisper function, and honestly if it stays in place after the 2 week evaulation period I will most likely not continue to frequent the site. I enjoy the chat rooms, and dont per-se want my every conversation shared with the whole room. thanks for having a place to voice and hope its heard.

I have to Agree.

Whisper Fuction has been abused , Nothing as bad as seeing those one sided conversations in a room and typically they do not end in a pvt or tips for the model ( on my experience)

Guess I'll no longer be whispering to my favorite model without getting into confrontations with rudies. Thanks to the anti-whisper members.

Reason I was for the whisper function is because some people just don't like confrontations. I seriously doubt most people were abusing the function.

Awful idea. I agree with the "see you in 2 weeks" comment. I'm here to talk with the girls. I'm not here to talk with a bunch of other dudes typing with one hand. I don't care what other members in the chat room are talking about. Its usually inane nonsense that I have no desire to engage in. Whispering allowed me to talk with the girls without having to interact with other dudes. Don't take that away.

I think that was the only benefit of having the whisper option: not getting into confrontations with macho dudes or lezs.

ok . ....first post ever.... i only whisper to alert guys to time-wasters or big spenders ...how can i do that without whisper??? what about when models are in other models rooms and want to tell them their names with promoting themselves??? maybe models have different rules, i hope so
