There are exceptions, but, more times then not, this is the way chat appears to me. Nearly every site I've ever visited allows models to turn off grays (unregistered) and even basics (registered but never paid for anything) ... Gee, wonder why?
Don't much care about the whisperer, when there's so much else more deserving of being targeted. For those that can remember, freeloaders and timewasters existed long before whisperers, and will after, as well.

AFP has a great idea: Whispering allowed but at 5 credits per word. Actually the "two whispers allowed per model's room per 24 hr period" is a better compromise. You've got to admit, this thread is nearly as entertaining as watching a political debate ! lol

okay, okay got it
challenge the coders, tax the servers
bring whispering back but put math into it, like kertythekoala suggested. perhaps only allow a certain number of whispers in a whisper string. or x amount of time. COMPROMISE IS A CHALLENGE

Brad, I prefer some method of whisper functionality rather than no ability to whisper. I don't care about what stipulations you place on it. I didn't think I would really care but now I find it useful under some circumstances. I understand how a few members can actually avoid paying for a private by having an "intimate" whisper conversation sufficient to "relieve" themselves but shouldn't this be on the model to control? I have also seen disjointed conversations in rooms but these can occur with or without whispers and sometimes disjointed conversations happen in rooms where there is massive member activity, which can only be a good sign for business in my opinion. So many other targets for disjointed conversation and I would think models being on multiple sites at once would be a higher priority, although difficult to control probably. Anyway, I hope some whisper functionality can be restored once your testing period is complete.

My multiple pages of shows would say that I am often a paying customer. I enjoy being here and I enjoy the conversations that I get into with models and other users. In fact, I consider many of them my friends now.
Sometimes reality is that I don't have the money for a tip here or there. The title of the site is not "Flirt for Credits". I have been a VIP since late June, and I've enjoyed much of my interaction on the site. I'm not going to run off if I can no longer whisper.
I just think that it should be a model-by-model decision to allow whispers or each person should be given a whisper limit. A short, whispered conversation should be allowable. An entire evening of whispers should not. I have had models tell me to not whisper. I think the model should be able to make up his or her own mind about it.
The guys I visit certainly are more than capable.
But, now I'm going around in circles.
Brad, you guys have a great site, and you've always been responsive to all of my complaints or suggestions. I just think that this is a mistake, and I know several other users and models that have agreed with me.
Ultimately, it's your sandbox, and I'm not leaving one way or another. I just think a nice compromise would be nice.

Mistake to remove them, there are lots of things guys wish to discuss without the room needing to know especially when it comes to special kinks, personal things and the like. Yes its annoying when you know there is entire whisper conversations going on but I think the models do a good job following everyone else just fine and it hardly annoys me enough to want to give up my ability to whisper. Again I believe this will be a huge mistake.

Don't need hilarious comments when reason will suffice. Where are these rooms with rampant whispering? (of course they aren't here for this 2 week period) If a model lets a whisperer manipulate their time then I say the model decided who they prefer as a client. Yes, I have witnessed whispering and even whispered myself but I want to know whose rooms are so over run by whispering you are having trouble following the discussion? It's not that difficult to follow along and if so then only follow your conversation. If you decide to go to a room where the model CHOOSES to ignore you for a whisperer, shame on you. If you say they are a one of your favorites well then you didn't pick very well if they ignore you. Stop being a benchwarmer, get off the sidelines and insert yourself in the conversation. Take action on your own man-up to the invisible man don't cry to VS and have them do it for you.

Much appreciated Greathead, I was trying a bit of logic. Not too unreasonable but it produced no answer. (I would never whisper, I've read it is too vile, makes people uncomfortable and discussions difficult to understand/follow. )
