I do know there are a lot of guys that never chat and will park in rooms for many minutes or even hours without saying anything. One word to the wise for models, sometimes these guys are bosses just checking things out. Quote
yer i have found out alot just park, but then again alot talk which is great. just depends what time is it, maybe not everyone has woken up properly hehe. Quote
Try to say hi to most people that come into the room (although it isn't always possible)
I don't get offended if people don't say Hi back, but do like to have people to chat to!

1. Some people are here to just watch and not interact voyuerism is totally hot for some
2. i personally don't type that well
3. it allows them to get a feel for how i act and what i am about also allowing them to muster up what they want to say
4. if they want to talk they will
Hope the reply helps Kisses Quote
it is the non-talkers... the "window shoppers" that make the majority of the purchases on the site. i think some where in the model tips it states something like.." we are not here to impress the talkers. it is the non talkers we are talking to." or something like that...
thus why it helps to talk to a room as a whole.
I am WAY GUILTY of lacking conversation to everyone.
and yes i can agree... most of my reg started as non-talking window shoppers... and after a few times, now they pop in just to say hi before retiring for the night....
I personaly Rather have people talk to me.. give me something to work off of and play off.

As a customer I prefer to wait a while and see who is in the room chatting first.
Before the models OUTS someone from the dark remember:
Believe it or not there are rivalries and likings or disliking between clients also...
As you could see in some of the threads here, some members are
very aggressive and opinionated .They act the same way in the models rooms...
Besides I like to see how the model conducts himself and if I feel comfortable enough to start a
conversation possibly leading to a private. Those are just my reasons. Quote
But often i come in just to chat and I feel kind of wasting model time if my budget doesnt allow me to take him/her for pvt, and I also want to avoid that embarassing part when model invites me to private and I have to say I can't. Specially cause i think you will think "another one that comes here to try to get something for free". So if I never got u for a pvt is most likely I will stay in the dark.

It seems to be an ongoing thing with this talkers verse non-talkers, and something that will never be solved.
Having said that when one enters a room, says HELLO (in perhaps a cheeky way) and gets no response from the performer then why even remain in the room. I get that performers have a way to see which members can offer them more in tips & privates and such, but for some of us this is not possible. Having said that the rule is naturally if you can't tip don't make requests if you get what I mean.
What a performer chooses to do in their room is totally up to them and I respect their right to do what ever. Interaction in any chat room should be seen as a plus and would think the more the merrier.
Well I think that is my fishy comment to get the weekend of to a real blast.

Sort of think it is somewhat disgusting that with so many in the room so few actually talk, and think it is a clear sign of disrespect for that performer. I can see why some performers might get discouraged and end up wondering what they might be doing wrong.
I get that for some viewers it might be a fear of getting pounced on with the tip tip or take me private, but geez come on guys that is one of the risks you take.
Just wish there was some solution to this matter because fact is there are some really awesome guys to be found on the site. All it takes is a mere HELLO. Quote
This is one of my big pet peeves. I'll have well over a hundred guests in my room where absolutely no one says a thing for 10+ minutes - it's creepy and weirds me out. I have my auto-chat thing on so it says hi to everyone when they enter the room. I do my best to say hi (not type it) to all VIP and Premium members as they enter. But more often than not I don't get a response. What's so difficult about saying hi back? Some will even leave my room if I mention their name - which leads me to believe they don't want to be noticed. I'll try to get people to participate in chat with irresistible bait like "donald trump is the greatest president ever" or "I heard the new star wars movie is getting pushed back a month". That usually gets a few going. But yeah, a room full or lurkers is disturbing. Don't be a lurker, say hi!

Sadly Coreymoore this is what the site has been reduced to. The silent stalkers just waiting for you to strip down or whatever. There is really not all that much you can do about it other than trying to select different times to get online where there is a different selection of viewers. Best of luck Coreymoore.

I also feel like this topic is touched on every other week, just asked in a different format...
However, it is nice to see what others have said in the past and a good amount of responses from a Perfomer's perspective, even if they aren't around anymore.
Eh, my go-to answer remains the same: I tend (and often prefer) to be "a lurker" whenever I enter a new room for the first time, just to get a feel of it. First impressions count and if I like what I see, I'll tend to make the first Hello. Still, if a Model greets me (whether it be open or whisper) I will respond as a courtesy in open chat, it just depends on how the conversation goes from there.
If it's a Model's room I constantly visit and feel more comfortable with, I'll say hello from the get-go and carry on with it.
And this is probably the most common reason some (including myself) just prefer to stay quiet. That's always the end game here for models, so we can't fault them for asking/trying.
However it does raise another question for me: Do models prefer dealing with "the lurkers" or those who just enter a room with non-stop requests/empty promises of privates/tips?
