Sometimes it can work and at best might introduce a performer to other members out there. Quote

MILO:
Double the work half of the pay....
If you think it is hard to do a solo
show wait until you add another piece to the puzzle...
Every single visitor expects to see hard core
sex from the first second on...
Just my experience as an old timer of 14 years here...
Look around and ask models how many duos have survived for over
a few weeks????
Salut and enjoy whatever you decide to do...

YEP Louis most of them don't survive and think some that still around just might be in for more of having a cheeky time on the site rather than from the financial side.
Having said that it might get some performers a few more viewers when they go solo.

Absolutely GOFISH!! they get more viewers
as a solo for sure...
I don't know of any duo surviving for more than
a year and making a good living...
"Making a good living" is the key... for fun

From what I've seen, you simply have to actively promote do your existing fan base that you're working with this other person.
This can create a whole new experience to drive traffic to you. If you are struggling with a solo fan base, I'm not sure if creating a new couples profile will help. It's unlikely that people will be interested in BOTH of you equally. They are there to see the one person they like interact with someone else reasonably attractive.
You both are cross promoting for the other model's customer's too. So you need to work with someone where there's an even benefit.
Essentially, this comes down to marketing. If you're using the social media and other tools to interest potential customers in you and you've built your brand, adding a couple's account can be a welcome addition. If not, there's no incentive for a quality model with a quality customer base to work with you.
Good luck in any case!
