Does anyone know how many members are still left??? :angel

I used to meet and chat with many dozen old time members
but now it seems they are all gone making the rooms very very quiet..

We had lots of fun with the models and things were lively
and very entertaining for all of us, and very productive money wise
for the models that used to know how to maintain and promote a chat room. :thumbsup

Perhaps that is what we need to make the model's rooms
a little more fun... :thumbsup

Sadly most models have to answer at many many fans is several
other sites at the same site making it impossible to make a
lasting connection

Does anyone knows the answer to this riddle wrapped in a conundrum
enveloped in a mystery??? :orglaugh

louisphillippe one does bump into a few of the old timer members, but I think most have given up in disgust with the way the site has changed. Sad situation for what used to be one very classy site.

I don't know for sure, LP, but I think there are currently thousands of members.

Here are a couple of pointers which I hope are of interest:

1. one hot Hungarian performer started here in January 2016 and already has a badge for "Over 5,000 Favorited". I assume that members only add him to their favourites once, so that suggests that thousands of members have visited that one performer in the last year.

2. when the site had a problem processing VODs 6 months ago, VS announced at one point that they had a backlog of 90,000 VODs. Half of those could be party and group show VODs. Even so, if you divide half the total by the average VOD backlog per member you get quite a big number.

Your riddle wrapped in a conundrum is why the rooms seem so quiet if there are so many members here. A couple of points. There are now many more performers on-line at the same time. Often around 250, compared to 100 or so in "the good old days". So members are spread more thinly across the rooms. And of course there is whispering - which has become the norm in some rooms. Many members are now invisible.

I think the great success of VS attracting so many models
is part of the cause for their own demise....

Too much of a good thing becomes a liability... :bulb

I also met a few "old timers" but they say they seldom visit
the site although they still have an open account...

Well....good to know the good old F4F still forges ahead!!! :thumbsup

I agree that there might be less members around...but I think
most of the ones we miss are the old timers that left a while ago because of
well...many many factors :winkwink

New members seem to be the mute type with little or no interest
or communicating with others... :angel

... or tipping a little... ;-)

I do believe ( as I was told by several long time models) that the
earnings are way down and the the job is a lot more demanding, takes lot more
effort and you need to be connected up to 30 :evil

Ok, so why don't we ask F4F to allow members to set up member party with a willing model and no one is allowed to whisper?

That way the attention of the model is to optimize and maximize his performance based on crowd suggestions and his interaction with all.

The inviting member can do the banning if a member is rude.

People have to pay credits to get in.

If it is a true party, then the model should not be responding to whispers as the members tipping are keeping teh party moving. As far as paying to get into a show, that is what group shows can be used for.
Model sets up a fun group show with a small entry fee to be pledge and those that want have some fun and tip the model can enter the show. Model just need to make sure they disclose that in the description otherwise you have those that complain the model did not do as stated they would for the pledges.
I have seen it done that way and have a lot of fun.

Whispering has definitely taken something away from the site. I wish it would go back to the old days when only VIP could use that feature, or more models would just turn it off in their room.

Whispering has definitely taken something away from the site. I wish it would go back to the old days when only VIP could use that feature, or more models would just turn it off in their room.
