Yep it has finally come down to the purchase of credits which is awesome for the performers who get them and of course the site.
Sort of gives one little incentive to even bother chatting with some of the really cool people one finds on the site, but hey the site is in a state of change. Good...Bad...or something in between my only wish is for the well being of those performers who really go the extra step to make their viewers feel welcome.
Just hope this thread does not get dumped as it is not my intend to slam the site in any way. Compared to some of the other sites out there it does offer a lot to it's members with like I said some of the nicest performers that you will ever find.
Well that is my FISHY rant for the day ...hope you enjoy. Quote
I like it too. Takes away the reason for non-paying members to camp out in a models room not saying a thing, we all know this really irritates the models.

I can only speak for myself in that I will take the time to write a review for any performer who has impressed me with the way he responds to his viewers. Taking the time to send messages that will in a sense put a smile on his face. Nope never make requests of any performer if they cannot be backed up with a tip or something. Those boost points were seen merely as appreciation for the performer and not a request for something. Quote
Then I don't get what the problem is. If you truly wish to be nice to performers, then you can still write a review for them. But too many freeloaders used the boostpoints to make requests. Taking that currency away from them is a good thing in my opinion.

Also changes of power boost for performers as well it is not last longer 7 days, for now only 2 days: Receive 1 point for every 10 boost points given to you by customers during the past 2-days. Will help to sort models more quick and now more models will have chance to get on top of home page.
side note: you said power boost points is currency? lol ok then look :
BasicUser: will you cum for me if i vote for FOTY?

Well you know, I'm always trying to be friendly and nice but most of guests and visitors don't even say "hello" so that is a real problem for me. The best way with boosters may be to earn them by chatting at least. That may have a point. And yes, if they're just sitting there without even answering, they shouldn't get any benefits. It may force people to be much more chatty. We're on cams at least, it's not a porn. You can interact with a models, guys ! Quote

Just remember there are two groups of members....basic and premium. In this case the loss of earning boost points applies to both members. I understand the purchasing of the credits issue, but having those boost points was sort of fun when giving them to a special performer & that GREEN flash across the screen (hey nothing was expected in return though seems some members actually expected something. Why I do not know as the boost points were more for fun in any case).

Yes right, but you know, the site changed about one month ago the power boost option, i mean before that change the power boost what we got helped us for one week, now any boost we get keep just 2 days...so that boost is not a big deal anymore Quote

Yep Kane it seems the case that the boost point just lost some sparkle in the room being reduced to a mere 2 days. You have to wonder why the site did not just merely dump boost point in the first place.

They changed it because there was too many models which always been up in page even if didn't made many credits, they had 1-2 members which made they full with power boost, and they changed it, at last i guess is that... Quote
And finally the silent viewers are going to be gone. I always say hi to everyone and it's very annoying have someone that don't say even a hi and keep in the room forever without say nothing. Quote

Alas Daniel the silent viewers will always be round. Why they wish to remain silent will always be a mystery, but if they are unable to earn boost points by parking in a number of chat rooms I guess they will be encouraged to buy credits every so often.

Example, get 500k to cover a multiplier but it's better to wait for the contest that starts the following midnight, multipler goes to waste but at least the points help on the page for the one night.
So if you are worried about collecting boosts, think of them as digital dust collectors Quote

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding what some of you are saying, but I think GOFish has a point here, too. Quote
keeping conversation going in a room or helping to encourage people to help out a good guy.
male, definitely i have no idea what exactly you meant by "encourage", but here just my humble opinion:
didnt want fall in to long discussion, but : good conversations always welcomed instead "encourage" to help a good guy? there a room host, who know how to rule his place, from my sexpirience, all these "encouragers" most of the time sound like performer hired "encourager" or being sexretary and pushing/ begging other visitors to tip or boost or whatever, its not really cool, many visitors just leave in search to rooms where they can chat and dont hear now and then "pvt bb", "tip me bb" and so on. Especially super freak lame it to hear "encourage" from visitor who didn't tip/private/boost/vote/whatever in front all of them even small amount.
still about boost points, these never been like something special, it always been Game Points, it was stated like that from day 1st of release, so if you game, come on over.
cheers.

male4622 I am with you on what you point out there. Thankfully there are several performers on the site who appreciate a member coming into the room and actually talking to them. Have never viewed boost point to be use for requesting a performer to do anything, but rather to put a smile on his face. They were viewed more as an encouragement from the site to hangout in chat rooms as well as doing other sorts of stuff. No member on the site should ever judge another member based on the things they see. Some of us members will take the time to give performers suggestion which could help them out & give them some encouragement at a time when they might need it.
Well hope everyone enjoyed my fish rant Quote

I think you are right, Twixel.
Until I read it in this topic I wasn't aware that they had reduced the benefit to performers from 7 days to 2 days.
