Odd name for a topic for sure but here goes.
Seems there is a general loss in the way performers (yes performers not models) perform in their rooms. There seems to be excessive nudity in open chat for some reason which is sure to attract a lot of viewers to the room with the wrong results. I bring up this point merely because some performers are ending up having a hard time trying to compete on the site, and are basically on the site for financial reasons. I am not saying that they hound you for tips or to go private, but rather they try to make being in their room a good time. One performer that I know (very cool and friendly guy) is basically considering taking a break from the site which I find pretty sad. I know some will say if a performer can not hack it then they should move on, but given the situation on the site it is turning into a really hard task for a top notch performer to make a go of it.
Why the site has not addressed the party issue is beyond reason. Grey viewers merely get to enjoy more (hey have nothing against a few of those greys, but please with the demands that some make it is really tough on the performers).
It is also a case of respect, which at times seems to be lacking on the part of some members. This whispering I will say is really getting out of control. It tends to confuse everyone in the chat room and the poor performer does not know half the time if he has missed something in the conversation. I get the impression from some members that they wish the complete attention of the performer regardless as to who else is in the room. The question also has to be why the heck do some performers just whisper to everyone in the room???
By the way it would be great to see if the site would allow tips of any sort rather than the 10credit minimum. Would be wild to see some purple rain even if it was a flood of 1 credits. It is all about creating an image.
Sorry for going on so. I am sure I am rehashing some prior posting, and that some negative comment will be posted, but don't really care. Would just like to see this site get back on track, make it better for the performers (bigger pay cut would be nice),and a fun place for us members to hang out.
A big thanks to those performers who give their all...the members who count really appreciate your efforts. Hope this posting will get some interesting comments and perhaps suggestions ....who know maybe someone from the site will take note :winkwink

gofish - You need to email the site and/or talk by phone. Having it in writing to Customer Support would get you a reply .

Site members does not grow as fast as adding models . 200 + models is a reality .
This site does lots of contests . If a model has built a stable fan base , they have a chance for additional earnings .

The female side is the same . Top models seem to always earn well . They build and retain their fan base .

I have suggested models SHOULD have training before they log onto this site .
This site has a few unique features like blogs , power boosts , use of credits instead of tokens , etc .
I find rare model who had received training :twocents

A few read the site's literature with a glance . They do a little better .

Finally , members can help models build a fan base . Tip , private and power boost them to get into the top 10 % or even the Top 20 models .
Be kind to new visitors and help the model to get new members .

It is easy to get overwhelmed here . Especially when they work multiple sites .
Some of the Female Performers only have Flirt open on contest days or Fan club days .
If models take time to visit top rooms as a member , they will learn more ways a successful room runs .
Models do not automatically know how to tease for the variation of members .
Models who stay nude might try to wear some clothes and use "Room Topic" to direct members to tip for flashes .

I hope this helps some . I have tried to help some models and no matter what - They slide to the bottom 25% and are let go from this site .
The site used to "cleanse" the lower ranking of models . I don't know if it still happens every 2 to 3 months as before .
The models can also read Performer's forum . Tips for newbies as well as returning models .
Every model has either Studio Manager or Executive that can help them .

Members who need to learn respect rarely use the forums .
Permanent ban of the worse offenders makes a room run better .
No need to teach Kindergarten Rules of Respect .
I agree it is worse in some rooms than others . Top models seem to run a room that is profitable to the model and runs well without too much drama for all .

WOOW LickaU that was one awesome response. Likewise try to help performers where ever possible. An reasonable member should try to do their best to help out a performer. If one cannot tip boost point help and heck if that is not possible FAV the performer, write a reveiw, all these things can help the performer, but most important say HELLO the the performer.

I see a lot written here on teasing and flirting but you cannot teach that, either a model has it in them or they don't. I've seen some pro's here and also seen some uncomfortable moments from models attempting it. As much as we want to see all models succeed, most aren't cut out for this type of work. I do agree more training is needed on how the site works and new models shouldn't be working 5 sites simultaneously as it sets them up to fail.

I don't mind a model being nude as long they do it to entice members into tipping or a private, but don't want to have them do what I'd ask for in a private show in free chat. I am in total agreement with what you have said. Might not succeed in giving hints as to performer might tease, but any suggestion just could help them out.
Yes the whispering is really getting out of control, and heck who want to hang out in a room that looks so quiet.

I would add that whispering also makes it look as if performers are working on other sites, when they might not be.

I have seen more than a thousand posts about whispering (no exaggeration) in 4 forums here, including 7 topics by gofish in this forum.

It will need some new arguments in the right forum to persuade VS to make any further changes. A thought I just had today was that whispering is private chat with the performer, which the site provides for free. The site doesn't like giving things away for free when they could make a charge. Just a thought :winkwink

Ronnie I could get behind a "Pay Per Whisper" feature. Gofish recommended smaller tips like a single credit which I wouldn't be in favor of on a site like this, leave that to the other site. But, charging a credit per whisper without it appearing on the chat screen would be fine with me. :twocents

Really, though, it's up to the performer to decide if he wants to allow whispering in the room or not, and if the performer whispers to a member, it's up to that member to decide if he wants to whisper back or not.

As for us paying for whispers, at one point we WERE paying for it by paying for a VIP membership or by joining a fan club. Returning to that might help to reduce the amount of whispering going on...and it could very well convince members to pay to become VIP for the perk of being able to whisper again, if they really want it.

Models do have the option of blocking greys and non premium members. We also have the option of disabling whispers. I prefer to keep as much conversation in whisper as possible. I only have about half a year of camming under my belt, but i have found that a quiet room= more privates, because i look available. A full room of people either just staring or making awkward small talk or free demands tends to chase potential paying customers away.

1 credit tips would be awful and so disrespectful. 10 credits is bad enough because people think that a single 10 credit tip will actually get them something more than a "thank you".

There will always be the problem with the whispering, but to charge members credits to use it just won't work. At the moment it seems hard enough to even get member/viewers to even talk in open chat. Plus the fact that whispering does come in handy if a member can make a suggestion to a performer to help they out without disrupting the chat in the room.
I know a few performers freaked out with the thought of 1 credit tip, but I hope now they will understand the underlining meaning of what I said.
The point is that the site has to return to being a fun and enjoyable place to both members and performers.
As for the quiet room = more privates the performer in question must be very lucky. From the growing number of quiet rooms one sees on the site it tells a different story.

I remember when 5 and 10 credit tips were introduced. Some members liked to see parties with "purple rain" of 5 credit tips. However the 5 credit tips were removed - no doubt because some members used them on an individual basis. So there is no prospect of introducing 1 credit tips. I think Devon Rider's comment is exactly right.

Interestingly there is still a 5 credit tip on the Gifts page. (The range is 5 credits to 10,000 credits). I think it should have been removed when 5 credit tips were removed from the chat rooms. I don't think any performer would be too pleased if a member sent them a single 5 credit tip...

what you guys do not understand for many members like myself the sound does not work on this site and f4f could not care less

we got to type in priv.but the sound does work in test

and i like open chat too much to whisper

i still think that models do not do as many talking priv. as they did before whispering.
whispering for a lot of members is a free priv. :bulb
