When I go to a models chat room I like to chat with them. Espescialy if it is one who I've become a regular in his room. Sometimes there isn't any one else in the room. Sometimes there are others in the room but they aren't saying anything.So, I get real chatty. But, I take little pauses purposely to see if any one else has anything to say. But there are some of my fellow chatters (One in particular who will remain nameless) who come into a models room and completely monopolize the whole conversation. How Rude. I've actualy left models rooms when "nameless" comes in. Why stick around, you won't get a word in edgewise. And, this individual has NEVER EVER given a model even so much as a tip. If you recognize yourself get a clue. There might be others in the room who have something to say. Maybe even want to tip after they've chatted a bit. It's not "Nice" :winkwink

Homo-Erectus/luv2suckyu has introduced an interesting topic. (I used the singular verb intentionally.)

In the Dark Ages before open-room tips, party chat, or group chat in its present form, I visited with my favorite model perhaps a hundred times, sometimes for his entire shift. I noticed that one regular visitor constantly asked the model to show this or that, and the model usually accommodated him. In whispers I asked the model if that visitor had ever taken him private. The whispered answer was "nope." The model was a good sport who wasn't bothered by the freeloader.

Many times since then I've seen the same guest in the rooms of other models. As far as I know, he's never spent so much as a dime.

A recent model reiterated what my friend of years ago had told me: The visitor didn't spend, but made the room a bit more interesting. I can't say he monopolizes the conversation, although he keeps up a steady banter, punctuated with oversized emoticons.

It doesn't seem to annoy the models and it certainly doesn't bother me. It seems that some people take seriously the name of the site and have no reluctance to flirt for free.

..I know a few members who could be put into that category, all talk and no action. It does get quite annoying.

It would be nice to think that your comments will encourage "nameless" to stop monopolising the chat. Sadly most members don't use the forums, so it is unlikely he will see this topic. However, there are ways in which you could bring it to his attention ...

I see that you and others have raised a number of topics here about Members Behaving Badly. I recently started that topic in the General Discussions forum to consider whether more could be done to deal with the problem.

There was general agreement that models should be encouraged to make full use of the tools available to them to deal with badly behaved members. That inevitably encourages me to plug and bump the following topic:

we have had a few guys in the past that tend to take all the attention. even guys that get upset and answer the same question over and over again. we try to split up the attention and talk to all our friends that come into the chat room.

i just feel as if one person wants all the attention, take us privt. there you will get our undivided attention.

otherwise, the chat room is for everybody.

Just a follow up to my original post. Hey, I don't always tip either. I don't always have credits. But I enjoy the company of the models and the chatt in the room. And the site is called flirt4Free.
I just think it is polite to give others in the room a chance to say something & not take the chatt over completely so no one else gets a word in edgewise :twocents

I have a couple of guys...one used to b a good customer but now just lurks and rarely says anything. The other a guy who ran out of credits and now comes into my room to pick up other room viewers....gets irritating after a while!

I once called a member out, VIP even, on him monopolizing the conversation and constantly complaining with the result that he called me a "chat nazi". The model later thanked me for calling him out but said he didn't feel right doing the same thing. I learned my lesson and now I never make a comment about anyone else and what they are doing in the chat room with the models.

Honestly for me it keeps the room interesting having a conversation or two going because we all know it's pretty lame when there's no one saying anything. In my opinion it all depends on the model and how well they are able to multi-task/keep up with the heavy flow of traffic handeling multiple conversations at one time. Also it's up to the customers to be more persistant and speak up rather than letting one person take over a room. Just my opinion

I must say... I'm pretty sure I am one of those models, though... To get action you must see interest from the customers! If you never get tiped, why get off a nice conversation! But as soon as I am in private or getting tipped, I am doing what I must do

The chat experience is nuanced. If I'm made to feel like I'm putting money in a slot machine in order to get a response, I'm going to get turned off quickly. It's all about give and take.

I'm aware that models are here to work, and I respect that. But a skilled model will make it seem less like a job. Some guys really get that, and others just don't. :twocents
