Male Performer Chat: Party Or Group Chat...Which Do You Prefer?
Also, those new, lower tips are ridiculous. Any tip less than 50 credits is an insult to the model, top performer or not.
Firstly let me start by saying I definitely love Group Chats, awesome work from f4f.
On the above comment, gayslave4u I understand your opinion however sometimes it can be fun (and I have seen this happen regularly) to create purple rain in a model's room outside of party or group chat. I have seen instances where members all get caught up in the moment and 3 or four people will tip almost 100 credits each during one of these "Purple Rain" events.
I don't know a single model that would say it is insulting for this to happen, it is a way of showing our appreciation for the model. So whilst I understand your view, I respectfully disagree.

I think it depends on the performer and the length of time they have been on site. New guys can do Party with a limited fan base and make some tips, whereas if they are in Group, without a fan base, they don't make the goal and are left without anything.
More experienced models who know how to work Party on a progressive base...so many credits for something; so many more for another, etc....can make a lot in Party. You need to know your clients and how busy the site is. Party at a low period of the day usually will not work.
Also, models...if you set a goal...don't go changing them in Party. A lot of times if they are not getting a response, they will do something before meeting the goal...this is unfair to those who have tipped.
And customers....Tip the model! Even if it is only ten credits....10 tens is 100 credits! If you cannot purchase credits at that moment...let the model know...and when you do get them, you can always tip a model in open chat to say thanks! Quote

However, where the model decides to set a significant target - eg another 500 (or more) for cum - then I think that Group Chat wins hands down.
In Party Chat there is the risk that the target might not be met, or that time runs out, and those who tipped do not get the cum show they want to see. There is also the chance that the model may be taken off to pvt (here or on a linked site) at the most exciting stage. This is discussed in the topic: Party Chat Etiquette

...Even with the new lower tip amounts, I still find myself leary of Party chats. If I go into one now, I always wait to see how the tipping is going. If after 1-2 minutes I see no tipping I leave. It seems that if I tip it doesn't mean that others will follow. I guess you just have to be in the right models room where Party chats work, sadly I have found them to be far and few between.
...Which is why I still prefer Group chats over party chats any day.

I dunno I never had a party chat on my solo account so I can't really compare it . I have enjoyed the group chats that I have done though I've only done a few.. I might start doing more group chats now that more people are frequently visiting in my room and staying and I have more time to be on here. So far now as a performer my choice is Group Chat.

I agree. Group chat seems to be much more fair than the party chat. With the party chats I have seen, a small group of members tip and a large number watch the show for free. This does not happen with the group chat.
My thoughts exactly, its why I stopped doing party chat. However I am also hesitant to do group chat, I have to decide between a reasonable time to do stuff for you guys and a cheap price. Alot of the time group chat fails for me because I don't have enough members pledging or they are not pledging enough. Honestly these days you guys are more likely to get private chat with me. However as always, I like you guys to surprise me.

Group Chat for me every time. The best performers will say what they plan to do in the Group Chat and at 50 credits per member it is excellent value. If pledges are slow, you can always pledge more and it is still cheaper than many Party Chats.
I've also had some bad experiences with Party Chats - performers taking the Tip and then doing nothing except to ask for a bigger tip and promising more - until his requests exceed the amount members are willing to Tip. I have also seen performers end a Party Chat just after receiving a Tip and go into a Pvt Chat. Finally, even when Party Chat is working reasonably well, it can be annoying when members have Tipped to see a cum shot, and other members want to see his ass or his feet.
Personally, I'm not that bothered about freeloaders as long as they understand that they have no right to ask for any specific actions and should restrict their chat to praise for the performer. Quote

Personally, I am bothered about free-riders since they should, but 90% dont follow what you are suggesting, Jon.
