Male Performer Chat: WHY WHY do Performers WHISPER?

dannigirl73 glad to see that you at least do talk in open chat. The option of having the whisper option on or off is always up to the performer so no member should get pissed over this. They have the option of asking the performer to turn it on in a polite way.
A few members have come into my fave models room and asked about whispers but he apologises and says it's only for fan club....it's very difficult for the models particularly if English is their second language to keep up with such a huge amount of whispers or chat messages in open..I'm glad he only has it for us who are in the fan club it makes it more special for us

Asti once the interactive toys became prevalent on the site the number of successful group shows has gone way down from years past. Many of the models in order to compete anymore have to use interactive toys and do so in party chats (our should be in party chats) so it has cut back on group shows being offered.

This is because interactive toys cannot be used effectively in group shows. Most members typically do not tip during group shows, as they have already "paid their dues" by pledging into the show; once the show begins, there is no longer any need for members to tip (though, of course, they may choose to do so...and some do). No tipping equals no response from the interactive device, so the models opt for party chat instead, where tipping is required to get any response from the various devices (as well as keeping the party chat going), thus the decline in the number of group shows as use of ohmibod, etc., increases.
That is not to say that models don't do group shows, but whereas once upon a time the front page might be more or less evenly divided between ongoing group shows and party chats, nowadays the number is heavily skewed towards party, with sometimes as many as 20 party chats in progress--and often more displaying the "OHMIBOD" banner--and maybe only 1 or 2 groups shows in either the pledging stage or in progress.

OFF TOPIC FOR WHISPER BUT Maybe not .... a new idea for Ohmi that I have seen in a Group a show but it does make Ohimbad become a little more interesting.1. Tipping sounds are turned off
2. The sound/ music system connected to ohmi
3. Guests select the song they would like, for an advertised tip, and this is fed to the ohmi.
This encourages groups, gets chat going with guests about songs, and no whispering needed Quote
Brett and zyxwv098 appreciate your in put. I always preferred group shows to parties. However tipping now serves a two fold purpose; activate toy/stimulating performer plus fulfill the nature of party chat. It makes a combination that feeds itself. I see it more difficult for group shows especially after a sometimes long tipping process to simply begin a group show and parties are so immediate. Thanks.

Ronnie whispering might have had a small impact on group chats, but its certain interactive toys have nearly made group chats a thing of the past.

Haratio if you read my name and understand what it means then you know why I whisper. I am 100% deaf. I cannot follow any conversations that are spoken. My whispers are to the model that I cannot hear and if they speak I won't be able to follow the conversation. If the whispers continue it's merely because the model has asked why I'm deaf. While I'm not ashamed of the events leading to my deafness I don't care to share it with everyone. Likewise I prefer my name and my career not be shared with everyone. And finally I have specific tastes when it comes to privates that only the model and myself need to know about not the whole damn world. My fantasies are my fantasies.

EXACTLY!!! I can't be having multiple conversations and not focusing on the main chatroom where a majority of the guests are. A lot of members don't understand and avoid me because I don't let them whisper. It's very, very frustrating.

deafTN while I know a lot about your situation there is one thing that I love to see in a chat room and that is you buddy. You are one very tough cookie and any performer on the site should be jumping for joy to see you in the room. Please don't let that hold you back for the odd open chat comment if you see a fishy swiming round.
