posting them here moves beyond the parameters of this thread's topic.

Kinda, but not really. If someone is starting a petition for a rule, you kinda need to know the rest of the rules or if there is a related rule.....or at least I think you do.

It's as zyxwv098 said the rules for performers aren't public for members. We aren't the ones who must follow them. Knowing them may be helpful to most. However, there are people who knowing the rules will try to encourage a performer to break them.
There aren't only site rules each performer is entitled to have rules of their own for open and private show. Even in private some performers will not remove all their clothes or perform certain acts. Members must learn to accept these conditions and find out before entering a show what to expect in private. If the performers' shows are available as VODs preview the storyboards, email them questions at the site or ask in open chat.
I can confirm that pets on cam remain forbidden and a solo performer account may not have two people on camera.

Bravo! This is what many of us think, but have not expressed.

The models are performers. To perform, by definition, would mean to actually do something that captures attention, and better still, holds it. A model/performer who is just sitting there looking at a cell phone is not, by definition, doing their job. They are not performing. They are not entertaining. And likely not making money. And that's the objective, isn't it?

so ive been following this thread kinda chuckling on the inside. okay, flat out laughing hysterically, but still. where to begin... so the cell phone problem in general is in society, not just specific to flirt for free. with that being said i am gonna sugar coat this as much as i can. YOURE WRONG! i will not just say that and not back it, so here goes

yes, this is a "job" but you as a paying member on the site do not get to dictate what happens in my room just because you spent credits in another models room at one point or another. this is more like a car sales job in as we make commission. so in the sense of the performer being "glued" to their phone, unwise move on their part. however, you dont pay me a salary. someone made the comment "just put the phone away. i cant have mine out at work, why do you?" or something to that effect. i sure hope you wouldnt, you get paid per hour, and as such you are expected to work while on the clock. when you come in my room and take me into a private, then i am on the clock. by all means at that point in time, tell me to put it away. but until then dont try to make rules on a site that effect everyone when your highness only spends on a few.
that being said, yes. the cell phones are getting a bit out of hand. there are two solutions to this! 1: as someone who is spending money ( assuming you are) in the model in questions room, just ask them to put the phone down in a whisper. personal experience, i had 12 people join my room. i greeted each one by name with a smile on my face. 4.5 minutes went by not a single person replied. you bet your ass my phone came out. what im supposed to sit there and stare at my own video? please.
2: you can just wait for the inevidable.... that performer will not do well over time if theyre not EVER paying attention, and will soon fall off.

much more i could add but i think that about sums up my thoughts. love you all

Completely agree with you. These threads pushing to control performer behavior are so odd to me.

Peter, you make good points, thanks. What most members take issue with are performers constantly on their phone who every so often say, "come on guys lets go pvt." Even a car salesperson is looking for their next commission, cultivating it. Unless tips are involved a performer isn't making any income in open chat. The goal is to make it into a show, not remain in the open room shooting the breeze or...on their phone.

...I meant to add regarding the experience you mentioned with 12 people in your room. They sound like lurkers. Those individuals who join a room and just sit there possibly waiting for a free glimpse, who knows. You did everything right, unfortunate.

Oh please....
The models are sitting in front of a computer screen for hours, they need something to keep busy or pass out from boredom. Many run their apps through the phones and their music.
This is their business and many communicate through their phones.

Don't like it then keep them interactive enough and pay for their time.

i did actually look, and you do in fact have quite a large tip posted which is great! im not bashing you at all, i really do think thats awesome. but my point is, you tipped that one particular model that amount we did not all benefit from that, so to say that no model in any room should be aloud to read their email, or check their text they just got is absurd. there is no banning of "excessive use" it has to be all use or none at all. so to that i would say that i would hope that the model you showed the courtesy of tipping for their time would show you the same of giving you their time, but i dont feel that the 100s of models on here are responsible to do so, ive seen your name pop up in my room several times and you didnt so much as respond to a greeting. im supposed to stare puppy eyed into the cam until the day you do? not that this is all about me, but i can only speak from personal experience. i dont know though, maybe im wrong.... ok wait i do know, im not wrong...
