I wanted to thank you guys once more for all your comments here, I really appreciate it and I hope it encourages more trust and tolerance amongst us.
I have now indeed made the step to "come out" to my favorite member friends in my favorite room and it went quietly and smoothly. As far as I am concerned, that is all I asked for. A few nights ago, one of my two favorite performers and I decided to refer to my true gender in open chat. He wanted to do that earlier, but I resisted. His philosophy is that everyone is welcome in his room, and he really does include every one of us. None of the members have been negative or even surprised that there's a female in the room. My "outing" was a natural extension of the model's accepting style.

I've yet to find other performers I feel drawn enough to personality-wise to stay long in a room. Since I don't get off by watching guys get off, I'm looking for more than those skills. Finding connection and conversation is why I'm on the site. Will keep looking.

Interesting to hear how this issue affects the labels and roles performers choose or are advised to adopt. There are a number of performers here who are successful being openly straight and open-minded about what goes on in parties and shows. Unfortunately there are real reasons to lie and to set 'gay' in performer's bio even if model is full straight. There are a lot of members who wants to know about model's preferences and past sexual experience before start of private show. @Darnell, I find honesty in a performer more important than him trying to be or pretend to be someone he's not.
A men's sexual energy on cam does not depend so much on his previous experiences, but way more on his personality:
playfulness, imagination and willingness to explore himself and also an honest interest in his visitors, what they would like to see, what drives them, making them feel comfortable etc.
