Chris I don't think it is a case of members losing interest in visiting the site, but rather that many newer performers just don't know how to connect with their viewers other than just requesting tips & privates.
There are a lot of performers on the site who one really enjoys hanging out with (I think you know some of whom I talk about).
It is merely a case of the fear of saying HI to a new performer and either getting no response or a request to go private.
By the way thanks for your response on this posting which seems to have taken on a life of it's own.

I think that doesn't matter if ure old performer or a newbie, it just the way you are

I don't want to belive this, but I am sure it's that way. The spark is not gone, you just need to find what you truly like and what you are looking for. I am sure the performers are on can demand any request or can satisfy anything youre looking for, just give them a chance and .. you will see that is right.

What happened between 1996 and 2016?
Being nude in open chat has once been against the rules, no?

I am aware that members don't make the rules, but they should be allowed to discuss them openly.
Members pointing out the problems caused by nude performers both to other performers and themselves are being silenced? Why?

What happened to the times when performers being naked in open would be reported to admins with the risk of getting removed from the site?

Times have changed, but have admins and Flirt rules, too?

Times have changed.
Rules have changed.
Attitudes have changed.
Models have changed.
It has nothing to do with what you might feel or want,it is
a new way to make money in a crazy changing market.
F4F needs to change to survive and to fight stiff competition
with other sites where everything goes.
Administration do what they need to do,nothing personal
or cold about it:IT IS JUST BUSINESS.
Yes some of us,old timers, miss the "good old days" and
former phenomenal performers.... but that is the past and
it is gone for good.
This is the new reality so get used to it because our
approval is not needed nor wanted.
Too many models in multiple sites.
Too many ever changing models demanding tips.
Too many members wanting to see a free show.
Too many models giving a free show.
None or very little 100% one to one PRIVATE service.
Add on your own concerns and disagreements.
I think most members agree in many points....
And those are my :twocents

One of the reasons the spark is out of flirt is because there are too many contests. Many of the popular models only work the contests on both sides. They tell their big spending clients to save their money for these big contests. They max out dont visit others and then these tegulars you do not see till their models tell them to shownup for the next big contest .

Member Alberich pointed those threads out about the introduction of party chat and other changes on the site (in 2010), where nudity in open chat was officially unbanned by admins. I hope this can help to answer some burning questions, also in connection to the spread of Ohmibod and with this nudity in open chat.

In my view this is bilateral.
Most performers are frustrated with user behaviour: no tipping, no talking, fewer privates, less fun in groups and party chats, and demanding, impatient or even down-right rude in public chat.
Frustrated performers on the other hand are not the types I want to spend time with...
A vicious circle, really. :evil

I am curiously following some of the newbies to see how long it takes them to become disentchanted, but I fear my sparkling personality is disruptive to this study :winkwink

Personal "invitations" via the message system are a repellant to most members. On the forum ...
Let's just say I delete spam mails, but I run when someone addresses me on the street.
Make sure you know your people before you do anything like that. Flirting is an art not a blunt instrument. :winkwink

I don't know about you guys, but recently I am having more and more fun on Flirt again.
I think the fact that we talked about str8 woman on here and it was shown that there is an overall welcoming atmosphere has really increased my spirits.

Those ohmibods worry me, but of course, I can stay "out of sight". I just don't find that they add anything to the class of Flirt.

Yes ChrisDK there are still a few performers on the site who just know how to spice it up, and hey getting to know that some of the viewers are female adds a new spin on the site.
As for the ohmibods I sort of think the fun of them will gradually wear out. Face it there is just so much that a performer can do with it, and there is the loss of the personal connection with the performer by his or her viewers. Pretty sure that the smart performers will back off on the overuse of that toy.
By the way always great to see your comments on the forum.

you couldn`t say it better,still i do wonder big time,one year or two ago i can`t remember well the date when i opened few topics where i said that it will happen exactly what is happening this days,why did over 60% of customers that replied have bite my ass? (apologize for expresion but can`t find any other that would suit better for my reply) i keept repeat like 2 or 3 times that if viewers are going to act cheap,they will get a cheap product in the end...now...i hate to say it in this situation,but i was damn right!.

I have to say Ronnie you did hit the nail on the head. The "spark" from flirt has left me. I am rarely on anymore and when I am I tend to be rude to most models I visit(because of the constant let's go private or tips me please). a few are worth saying hi to but even now they are few and far between. Some of the older ones who have lasted for years and a couple of new ones are all I fool with now

Hmmm, wow what a complicated post... not just the one I am quoting, but the topic in general. I feel as a performer, I definitely try to get to know the individual that comes in my room. Whether you're silent or you chat a lot, I am curious to know who you are. The reason I feel it is complicated is because of this:

1. A lot of people who come in my room are looking for sex, they talk immediately about my dick, its size, if I'm hard, and all before even asking me how I am...
2. Personally, I only ask for privates for two reasons, one being I am EXTREMELY horny myself haha so I am anxious for someone to pull me into private and spend time with me so we can BOTH enjoy ourselves, the second reason I would ask to be taken to private, is if there has been someone in my room for hours, chatting with me, or not, and I feel I'm ready to be taken...

However, I know what you are talking about because I have gone into other performers rooms, especially the ones from other countries (no offense to them) and have seen them straight up be like take me to private, immediately...

My issue is when I have a room FULL of people 70+ and I have NO ONE saying a word, at that point what can I do... I try to start conversations, but it is almost as if I am talking to a wall... I feel that out of all the performers on here, I think I engage A LOT, and I really try my hardest to please everyone. I allow basic users AND guests, to chat in my room with me, and in fact I encourage it because someone talking is better than no one talking.

It is offensive to me when someone is going to come in my room and call me boring because I'm not butt naked, and demanding me to get undressed... I mean a tip would be nice, a power boost, or if you are really feeling me, then take me to private. I'm not a toy, I am a human with feelings, and just because I am on a site dedicated to sex, doesn't mean that is all it needs to be about... Whatever happened to forming connections, what happened to love, interaction, communication?? I think I work my ass off, maybe sometimes more than others and not because of getting naked, but because I interact, which MANY models lack... yet these so called non- interactive performers are the ones at the top...

That being said, if you are looking for a performer who actually cares if you are satisfied, cares about your feelings, and wants to create a bond with you, then come see me

All of this except the asking to be taken pvt part... I don't ask at all ever ill i'll answer questions ili'll do a little show or w.e but it's your money and I refuse to try and pressure you the viewer and sure I dont make much but my people are constant and respectful... And my other half loves that maybe on those empty nights i'm super riled up...
