Hey guys...a nice member pointed out a small typo in my post that I want to correct: I had wrote: "I feel a LOT more uninhibited in Group Chat, because I don't need to worry about freeloaders (like in Group Chat) or feel like my friends are supporting those that don't support me. Group Chat feels more equitable to me." I MEAN "(like in Party Chat)". Sorry for any confusion that that may have caused. xoxo --AF

I voted earlier for Group Chat, and very much prefer it.

When Group Chat was first introduced I made a point of avoiding Party Chat! There were so few tippers in Party Chat, that I felt that the option of Group Chat would make it even less likely that people would now wish to tip in Party Chat.

Just to say that I have been tempted to return to Party Chat occasionally. Pleasantly surprised today: a Party Chat where 9 out of around 20 - 25 users tipped the model. That is a high percentage, even in the days before Group Chat was introduced. 7 out of 9 gave at least 25 in tips. Some gave up to 100 - 200.

The new 5, 10 and 25 tips seemed to make it easier for one or two more tippers to take part, who might previously not have tipped. However, I can imagine that some of the top performers will not like these small tips!

Good that a number of performers have the option of Party Chat and Group Chat, and can use whichever one they want.

I think they should just do away with the party chats. Group chats are way better. Also, those new, lower tips are ridiculous. Any tip less than 50 credits is an insult to the model, top performer or not.

Group Chat is definitely the way to go. Sometimes Party Chats will not make it all the way to the goal, and then people are usually upset because they wasted their credits at that point. With Group Chat no credits are taken out of your account until the show even ends. Plus there aren't any free loaders acting like they own the place just watching the models and not tipping them for their hard ;) work. Party Chats are super fun don't get me wrong, thats why I try to do them only when the roomsarockin and almost everyone is interacting and having fun.

Group chat is a fair way to enjoy your favorite model, support them, and get a little love in return. What I like about them is that I can set the theme for the show... So next thing you know I am dressed like a sailor, or dominating an entire group of subs, or having an orgy with the assistance of creativity and a couple of toys ;-)

Party chat is great for exposure and getting members into your room who normally wouldn't notice your profile, but in my experience it is only a handfull of members who tip while the rest reap the benefits... Although I've never had a complaint yet. I make sure I put on a memorable show...

Overall, I would say I prefer the Group Chat. At least with the Group Chat, all members of the group are vested. They had enough interest and are members that have the ability to contribute and that makes it more exciting in that the interaction inside of most groups is at a higher level, along with much more tipping within the group even after the goal had been long met. It is surely linked to the fact that the participants are players.

As for Party Chats, this is a hit miss deal. I have been in many parties that just plain rocked and the tips flowed like water within the party and just kept fueling the performer to go on and get even better. But unfortunately this is the exception and not the rule. Many a party fizzle fast and become just a couple of people tipping and the performer is bummed and not into the event.

So, I guess that means I like both, but for sure lean towards the Group as they seem to hit the mark more often with better overall results. The drawback to the Group deal is that the time is predetermined and when you hit the number.... BINGO you are done. As for a ripping party...it can go on .... and on... just like the Energizer Bunny!

I use party and group chat, I have had some great tips from party and would like to thank those who tipped me, but I agree, there are always the freeloaders, and after reading this thread I will be sure to use group chat more often. From now on I might just use party to entice my viewers and get them interested in a group show. Party chat has been a great way for me to introduce myself to the members. Thank you for the great thread, I enjoy the members forums more than the models forum.

I agree with James T and Sebastian's comments about using both Party Chat and Group Chat. :thumbsup

Party Chat is a good way to attract members to your room, and get them interested. If there are only 1 or 2 tippers, or you have known tippers who are holding back, it is good to then be able to offer Group Chat. I have seen that quite a lot.

There is also the option of doing Party Chat immediately after Group Chat, if models find there is not enough time to deliver as promised in Group Chat. (Adam suggested that at point #7 in his major post #31 here).

I have a question: do performers still need to have power scores in the top 10% to do Party Chat and the top 50% to do Group Chat? The reason I ask is because a performer was doing Party Chat on Monday, but said that he wasn't able to do Group Chat because he had been away from the site for a few months. I was puzzled, and he couldn't explain. He had a good quality HD setup.

A really good, fun, party chat can be a lot of fun. There are some models that have really done well with them. I enjoy Group Chats more, though.
