ChrisDK the answer is pretty simple Religious Brainwashing. People like this think they are going to become saints or something. If there is an afterlife one can only hope this guy lands in the burning fires of hell. Alas the world is full of hate, and the sad part is that this may be a sign of the things to come.
It is something of a different posting to be found on the forum, but at the end of the day one hopes that it will not become a gay issue, but rather a people issue. Sort of think no matter who you are we all receive the same judgement when we try to enter the pearly gates
Excellent!!...to think that in the XXI Century people
k!ll and gets k!lled in the name of an imaginary God no
one has seen in the last 2.000 years...
Nothing good has ever come out of any religion except
veiled hatred,discrimination,ignorance,barbaric ideas and
lack of real compassion and love....
Yes....the things to come make us think why such a
large segment of the Worlds population remain in the dark not
just spiritually but educationally and socially...
Innocents still pay the price...

You have to differentiate between religious and fanatic people.
To many people, religion adds stability and comfort to their lives. Everybody's culture and traditions is based on what our ancestors believed in and we didn't turn out too bad.
The important thing is to not misuse your believe system as an excuse for intolerance and hate.
It's the fanatic preachers you have to watch out for ... Quote

I see!!! guns were invented to salute, love, congratulate and make fellow
humans aware how much we love them!!!
No f***ngs gun no shoot outs...
NO ONE SHOULD HAVE GUNS!! except the police
and military...
It is the guns...it is the guns...IT IS THE GUNS!!!
But what do I know!....I live in a society where violence is seldom
used, mass killings are unknown and guns not wanted at all...
Please don't do the same that assh**e did!! k!ll!ng
or shooting is never the solution... after a bullet is out
you can't call it back...
Guns...guns...guns!! what is next???? Atom bombs???
Someone has to put a stop to all this madness.... and
it is not putting a gun in every home...

Tsk...tsk...tsk.... Absolutely useless...In fact the most negative
influence Humanity ever had...
Without religions no fanaticism...
From the beginning of time humans invented religion to justify their
fears, existence and a good afterlife... and tell others how to be,act and
what to do.. In fact even what to wear, what to eat and when...
We are in an era when the "God particle" is a few seconds away to be
discovered, dark matter/energy is a fact,we travel to outer space and can
communicate in a instant anywhere in Earth and we are still afraid and in
need of religious believes???
I hate to tell you...I don't need a God that gives me fashion
tips, culinary advise or social etiquette...
Show me a God I can see, measure, weigh and take a selfie with and
then I will believe ( like the famous Saint Thomas?? )
Well.... just call me " The Infidel"....

There CAN be fanaticism without religion...the word "fan" comes from "fanatic", after all. Fanaticism may also be applied to those following and supporting a particular ideology to an extreme level.
