A couple of points from posts in different forums in the last few days:
Please turn the CAPS LOCK off. People don't like to see headers or posts all in capitals.
A tip for all models: if you are quoting someone's text in your post, please leave a couple of blank lines before you start your own text. Otherwise your text can be blotted out. (It looks different from the members' side than it does from your side. Not sure why)
okay Ronnie-UK !!! i will do that! thank you for advices! Quote

It is quite a shock to see a topic like that alongside the many "I'm hot and horny" posts here. That may be the reason it was removed. I think it is something on which you should contact VS directly, and ask what is the best thing to do.
I started a "Performer Announcements" topic here last year:
http://www.flirt4free.com/forums/threads.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=12941&num_posts=51
VS might be able to tell you if it is OK to add your post there.

I have bumped this topic because it goes hand-in-hand with Forgottenclone's "Respect the Forum" thread Quote

Wanted to repeat Jeffie's advice at post #3 here: it is really helpful if forum topics have meaningful titles.
As there are lots of topics, it is easier for guys to see which ones they might want to read or respond to. Titles like "Just wondering...", "Just wanted to say..." and "I have a question..." give no clue about the subject. Once they disappear down the forum list they may never be found again.
On a related point: if the topic title is in English then it is very helpful if the posts are also in English Quote
A couple more suggestions I would like to add under the general heading of "Think Before You Post"
Before you post, remember that these are public forums open to all members. Perhaps something you might want to say to a particular model is not of general interest and would better be sent via the message system
Before you post, ask yourself if what you have to say is really necessary. A post which merely says "LOL" or "I agree" doesn't really add to the topic under discussion and just adds to the clutter Quote
Before you post, ask yourself if what you have to say is really necessary
Not really necessary? Then post anyway and give 'em the old razzle dazzle, razzle dazzle 'em, give 'em an act with lots of flash in it and the reaction will be passionate. Give 'em the old hocus pocus, bead and feather 'em, how can they see (fake cum shots) with sequins in their eyes?
What if your hinges all are rusting? what if, in fact, you're just disgusting? Razzle dazzle 'em.......And they;ll never catch wise! Quote

Post #10 here explains how to include links to other topics, VODs, bio pages etc
Post #13 explains that you have 2 hours to edit your post afterwards if the link doesn't work.
The links which do work show the correct format

If you want to draw attention in your post to another page (eg forum topic, bio page or VOD) then you should:
1. go to the page that you want people to see
2. click on the page address at the of the page to select it
3. right-click and select Copy
4. go back to the page where you are creating or editing your forum post
5. right-click and select Paste where you want the link to appear (preferably on a new line)
Note: if you want to paste more than one link you should include a separate line with some ordinary text between the links. Otherwise you tend to get partial links that don't work
Bump - for those who said they didn't know how to include links in forum topics
Hope post #10 (quoted here) is helpful Quote

I know the site is big on deleting or as I say Nuking threads, but I am sure there would have been a few members who would have been interested in knowing about that model who passed away. Often models just up and disappear leaving the member wondering what has happened. Quote

After you have posted here you have 2 hours in which you can change what you have written. Simply go to your post and select the Edit option. When you have made your changes then select Post Your Reply. It will overwrite the original post.
I think the 2 hours editing period is mainly there so that people can tone down comments they might make in the heat of the moment. However, it is always a good idea to look at what you have written a few minutes after you have posted, to see that it says what you intended to say.
Bump for newer members and performers
