Just a pro tip: if you want to get tips, you can’t make a connection with your guests if you’re staring at your phones. It’s best if you take a break to finish up your phone stuff before you go online or stay online. The tips aren’t in your phones. They’ll come from your computer screen.

You can/may want to ask what they're doing. Some flirt phoning, multitasking, checking their own cam room, bored bloggers and really dont want to be rude however current situations stands as a multitask whichever, and of course the 'it's more fun than working with the guest ' scenario. Either way if at point whereas their phone is more important than you, leave or don't. Just ask, the answers are always surprising.Quote

Sort of think some models use the phone for many purposes and often see it as a distraction when they first notice no one in the chat room is talking. The site might consider offering them some suggestion as to how to get conversations under way perhaps.

If a model is using their phone when I enter their room, i drop the phone emoji, and leave. I see no reason to disturb them.

I agree it is rude but if you enter a room drop a hello and give them a minute or two to say hello back. You do not know the situation on their side, they could be responding or communicating with family regarding something, it could be work related, or it could be that they have no one in the room communicating with them and they became bored.
I have found that most models would prefer to take the time and speak with guests either verbally or through whisper than waste time sitting on the phone.
What would you be doing if you were sitting there for hours waiting for someone to come in to speak let alone drop 10 to 25 credits and then leave? Quote

While seeing a model on the phone might be something of a turn off one might consider it from the model's point of view. I am betting they see a lot of viewers in the room and yet few if any say a word to the models. So where is the incentive to get off the phone if no one talks. The down side to this is clearly 100% of their attention ends up being on the phone.

However, we all know these young models are using social media 99% of the time.

Reminder, none of the models are employees of Flirt, they are individual contractors running their own business the same is true if they work for a studio. Now the studio may not continue the contract if there is no profit coming from the model. It is up to the model on how they conduct their business and if you don't like what you see in their room, move on to another model and spend your credits elsewhere.

That is is essentially what I said. If a model starts viewing their social media while I am with them, "see you later, maybe".
