First the intend of this posting is not to offend anyone, but just to make everyone aware of things.
We often hear about performers complaining about not getting any activity in their rooms. Well we know this in part due to so many non-talkers, but that is getting off track as to what this posting is about.
For some of us members especially when a contest is up for grabs get excited about favorite performers saying they plan to get online. It is often a case of us trying to spread the word, and basically help the performer out. Nothing is expected in return other than to see that performers name on the list of winners.
The sad part is when one gets online eager to give that support (whatever form it might be) to that performer and he or she just does not show up.
Just for the record I am not putting down any performer, but rather suggest that if possible that they message their fans if something comes up where they will not be online. A quick short message will surely do the trick.
Well that is my vent for the day. HEY WISH EACH AND EVERY PERFORMER ON THE SITE ALL THE BEST and cheers to all those members who keep this site a rocking. :thumbsup

Good topic Mr. gofish. Clearly understanding that you mean and agree with mostly part of that you wrote. But it's normal situation when fans helping to model and seems all ok with it. But don't forget that models is real people too. And as all people sometimes lazy and catching "star". Need also understanding that in this cases it also gives chance to others to attract more fans by good action and sure luck, cuz need to be in right time and right persons around.

Awesome feedback there JJinUK. What I was talking about might not have been everyones cup of tea. but merely an opinion. It has nothing to do with schedules, and sorry I refer to call the people on this site as performers (much more classy than being referred to as models). There was no preaching in what I have said merely stating things as I see them. There are some performers on this site who even in the worst time do their best to keep those who come to their room advised of what their online future might be. Like I say everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

The preaching comment was this post and several others you consistently make, you may not mean it to be but it comes across as such. Call the models what you like it doesn't really matter, I don't see one being classier than the other and this is basically porn site right? Many models communicate their online plans here and on Twitter, if they cannot make it they cannot make its not big deal just choose another model. In my Twitter timeline I see plenty of sorry cannot make it posts every day from prominent and new models. How about communicating it to the model directly since 99% of them don't read this forum anyway.

I cannot believe that you have not observed a difference in the quality of shows, performances and personalities on this site. There is a HUGE difference between studios, freelancers, cultural origin, and first and foremost commitment both on- and offline!

Literally have no clue what your first response is about, sorry. Model or performer what the hell does it matter? I've been here many years and the models call themselves models.

Yes in my many years here I am well aware of how long it takes and that is part of the fun which answers your first three >>>. Sorry you are pissed at others thoughts or opinions but that is your choice. Yes, I've been here many years but I guess I have other things that keep this site just for fun and not a way of life.

Really Gofish? Are you sure you aren't too invested in all this? Life happens and if they cannot stick to a posted schedule that is their choice. The site is somewhat fantasy based meaning a models life is their life, not yours. It may hurt their business or it may not but enough with the preaching already. Sorry for being so blunt but it gets old.

ok so first off, not saying this to be abrasive in any way shape or form, but that was just pure ignorance. i say ignorance because i assume youre not a model or performer or what not on here, so its not stupidity, you probably are just unaware. he Gofish is actually 1000% correct. this is a source of income for most performers on here, therefore it is a job. yes life happens but so does life at 9-5 jobs. can you just up and not show up to work without so much as a courtesy call out? what are they for? to inform the people that supply your paycheck that you will not be at work that day? think about it. we performers cant get butthurt when members stand us up because "we didnt make enough" when we dont give the common courtesy back. now not saying that this is "just a job". there is a lot more to it than a transaction. but the meat and potatoes of it is we come on at the beginning of the "shift" to make a paycheck ultimately... so lets show a little professionalism here! anywho, have fun everyone! just my javascript:insertEmoticon(' :twocents

Well it seems you might have just stirred the pot a little bit gofish. I personally would have to agree with you, I think it pretty much comes down to commitment. I know this because I have a crazy life and find that depending on other workloads I can be on almost everyday for a period of time and then be off for even months at a time. This makes it so hard to create meaningful bonds around here, which, ironic enough, is what I would prefer. I know I'm trying to to fix this, and I totally get where you're coming from.

Opposed to what has been said on this topic, I hate to be though of as a model, or actually even a performer. I don't think myself as porn, in the end, if you wanna see someone pull their dick, I'm sure you can find one bigger than mine, with a better body, and many other attributes if you look for porn videos. The real point is to establish connection with another human being, something a dvd cannot do for you. Thinking of that, I am not even sure about the term "performer", I believe I'm just a guy, who happens to enjoy a lot pleasing other guys, and I believe I'm good enough at it as to get paid in return. There is no performance in that, I assure

So I guess, thanks for making us all think about this, and as for models (or just "pleasers" if you will), yeah, we should be a little more considerate about people who actually care for us, and as for customers (maybe guest would be nicer), yes, it would be nice to acknowledge we are people, and like anyone else, we like being treated as such, for example, saying hello before asking to see us naked

Before anyone goes ranting about this I KNOW NOT EVERYONE FEELS THIS WAY. It's just my point of view.

Just mho but many of the models or performers are quite young. Maybe this is the first job they have ever held and, if economic conditions were better, many of these young men would not be working here. Many beautiful young men have other things going on in their lives and may miss a day here and there. I have a vague recollection of being young and I am happy to cut them some slack. No lectures, pls. I am entitled to express an opinion.

Lots of interesting replies for sure. The models contract with Flirt they aren't employees so they don't have to call in if not logging on, its their loss (diff if in a studio). I don't see any ignorance as Peter wrote simply because the kind of job this is, my opinion at least. I agree with stillaround most of these guys are young with active lifestyles ranging from school, other jobs, dates, social activities, family, and who knows what else. Things come up and the committed ones do their best to communicate their plans, take a look at Will Ryan's Twitter for a great example. If a model doesn't communicate work plans and it really bothers a member I'd suggest having a private conversation with model and if it continues just move on from that model so it doesn't ruin your experience here since it should be a fun time.
