This thread exists in the General Discussion VIP section of the forum (Competition Statements), but I feel it will be seen by more members and performers/models in this area.
It fits in with the many questions that are being asked about credits availability and offers along with other problems with F4F. As well as the reduction/removal of special offers to members we now see the changing of the rules and repositioning of the goal posts for their performers.
On the 14th of April there was a multi level 10K day that had this statement as a background . The "Top 6 guy models win a $300 bonus. Any model who has made at least 10K credits today,4/14/16, will each win a $100 dollar bonus! Any model who has made at least 20K credits today,.... "
But after the day closed the rules changed and F4F replied to a question by saying We apologize for the confusion. "Please disregard the "Top 6 guy models win a $300 bonus." There was nothing in the first sentence that said the performer/model had to reach the 30K level, it just says the "top 6 guy models".
As far as I am aware the top six guys did not receive this bonus and one, who was in the top six, and one has contacted his studio and received advice that there was nothing they could do about it.
Does this mean that the rules can be changed at any time for competitions and everyone told to disregard the rules. To me this seems like a perfect example of misleading advertising. I know that some performers and their guests work hard to achieve the bonus. This approach from F4F is unfair, and even if the statement was a mistake it should be honoured.

I read the first message before it was removed on the statement:
"We apologize for the confusion. Please disregard the "Top 6 guy models win a $300 bonus."
And Virgil's discussion on it.
Even one of the top six performers are upset
"I've talked more with my studio about it and it doesn't seem I can do much more to push it. F4F is giving the typical response of "that was a mistake, oops"
Are future bonuses going to be real?

This was a hew type of Auto-Win contest that was done to give models bigger rewards than normal with Auto-Win.

Any model who did at least 30K credits earned $300, 20K $200, 10K $100. So there could have been 10 $300 winners, or 5 $300 winners etc. We apologize again for any confusion, however the description was correct on the model's backend, on Twitter, and there was not a top 6 leaderboard on the promo page but the normal auto-win format. We didn't hear from any models who were confused during the promo or after, so it seems for the most part people understood how the contest worked even with the extra line of incorrect text at the top of the promo page.

We are giving out an extra 10K in prizes this month to models, and trying to reward more than ever before with contests like today's top 9. We also have special discount codes available on Twitter all week, a different one each day.

Hopefully that clears up any confusion, we're always trying to find ways to reward our loyal and engaged users. Quote
