I really wonder why advertising for models is going on in the forum now. Tastes are very different and individual and thats good.
There is no need to advertise models in my opinion. In fact, the really good ones will find it embarrassing since they don't need that.
Models who "do something" and not only sit on their cute ass or Ohmi will allways be more interesting for me. At least its your choice who is your favorite.
The forum is the wrong place to advertise. Models should advertise with their personality and behaviour.

But how will we know who the good models are unless we tell each other. We all log in to the site at different times morning, afternoon, or night. It’s not like models and users are in the site all the time 24 7. I found out about some models on this forum that I would have never known about any other way because I just didn’t log in when those models did. So advertising just to share the knowledge of a models existence on the site can be good.

Some would disagree, but I see a difference between "avertising" and "recommendations"....

If you find a model who you think is exceptions, sure, tell me about it.

But I don't want dozens of models telling me why I should visit them! They tend to NOT really be impartial!

What's even worse is to go to a model's room and find their "big supporter" member doing nothing but posting how great they are, how wonderful their private shows are, how we should support them in today's contest, etc. etc. ad nauseum. There are models I'd otherwise like whose rooms I now avoid because it's a constant stream of PSA's from members who think they're "helping" (but are in fact just turning people off).

A day ago, I posted what was meant to be a shout out to two good guys. It was not meant to be an advertisement. I wrote it, primarily, for the models on this site who struggle to conduct a good chat room. Billy and Martin, of whom I wrote, are but two of many good examples of models who provide a quality experience in the chat room. With neither model am I a frequent visitor. But, I respect their work immensely and enjoy their friendly manner.

There is nothing wrong in spreading the word about a specific performer who you think others might be interested in checking out. Not really what one would call advertising, but would suggest including a link to their chat room so that one can at least check out the BIO information and perhaps any reviews the performer might have. :winkwink

I like to see recommendations from different members. I also look to see which member made the recommendation. When I see members with recommendations for multiple models with their names as one of the top supporters for MANY models, then I think their recommendations either here on forum or on the profile page reviews are ok.

If the member only raves about one model, and I see they are the top supporter and top tipper for that ONE model, then I take it with a grain of salt and assume the member just has a thing for that one model. You can see all this on the profile page.

It's funny, on one model, a member put down in the reviews "He's my only favorite". Well...okay...good for that member...but I have 20 favorites at any one time that come and go over the years.

As for advertising on forum....I think it is a good place to go and tell about great experiences...I don't think it's advertising so much as it is just saying you felt a model went above and beyond your expectations.

This is really the only place to try to bounce unfettered, unbiased, and unfiltered feedback around. I emphasize the word "TRY".

I think the post a couple days ago of "how can Austin Vale be so beautiful?" is an example of what Oscar-Ger is talking about. Then when you open the post, it has nothing to do with the topic. Model recommendations like Cadieux did are more than welcome. I think those of us who have been around a long time, and have checked out many rooms should share when we find a hidden gem. Just my 1.5 cents

Yes definitely agree, I’d love to see more sharing from longtime members to share the hidden gems! I’m not online all the time 24 7 so it’s impossible to encounter every model on F4F especially the good ones. Even though it’s a matter of preference to each individual members tastes and qualities that they find attractive in models it’s still nice to know about models I had no idea existed on the site! Who knows maybe I’ll like them too!

Another very annoying thing (for models and users) I have to meantion; who doesn't know the advertising bots:

I hate these pop ups! I would never copy and paste that I’m sure it’s a link that contains a computer virus! Flirt4free should do something about those it definitely is a problem. F4F please remove these pop up and very strange unknown advertisements from the chat rooms! It very annoying and only disrupts the mood in the chat room! There where times I was chatting with a model and the model paused and read the pop up being temporarily distracted by it. F4F this pop up advertisement of unknown origins disrupts and distracts models and users it makes being in chat rooms a very annoying experience sometimes! Please block these pop ups we all hate them!

Luv2flirt hopefully one day the site will find a way to block them. The best thing is for both the members and model to just try to ignore them.
