Sadly guys this is the new world we now live in. Life is considered to be cheap and easily disposed of. An age of fear and mistrust. Where Religious Fanaticism is the order of the day. Unless someone takes a stand and says enough is enough nothing will change. This is not a gay issue, but the fact that the world has an over supply of sick humans who lack souls.
May those who lost their lives in this process rest in peace, and may the rest of us sane human beings finally take a stand. :thumbsup

I feel so sad that ONE messed up individual can cause so much harm and hurt .

not to deter from the tragedy in Orlando but I read they also caught a man heading to the LA Pride parade today heavy armed and carrying explosives. Why do people hate to such an extent. Horrible!

I thought I'd wait a day before I comment on this, but I can't, I still and simply can't put in words how this makes me feel. I know another member from Orlando, and I am happy he answered me instantly that he's fine. But he's missing lots of his friends who went to that club

How much hate does a person have to build up inside to even THINK about such an act?
How much more hate do you need to actually PLAN this out?
And what does someone push over the edge to finally DO this?

ChrisDK the answer is pretty simple Religious Brainwashing. People like this think they are going to become saints or something. If there is an afterlife one can only hope this guy lands in the burning fires of hell. Alas the world is full of hate, and the sad part is that this may be a sign of the things to come.
It is something of a different posting to be found on the forum, but at the end of the day one hopes that it will not become a gay issue, but rather a people issue. Sort of think no matter who you are we all receive the same judgement when we try to enter the pearly gates
