This is just my opinion but I notice that the site is really undergoing some changes with some of the performers.
I have nothing against any of the new performers or for that matter any of the performers. If what they do works for them I say great, but have come to find that there are a mere few who just makes the site worth visiting.
Just wondering if anyone else might have noticed this.
By the way this posting was not intended to offend anyone performer or member.

In my view this is bilateral.
Most performers are frustrated with user behaviour: no tipping, no talking, fewer privates, less fun in groups and party chats, and demanding, impatient or even down-right rude in public chat.
Frustrated performers on the other hand are not the types I want to spend time with...

I am curiously following some of the newbies to see how long it takes them to become disentchanted, but I fear my sparkling personality is disruptive to this study :winkwink

Taking it a step further, it's not just on this site but all sites this is common. If performers want to be in this business it's something they have too accept if they stick it out. All it can take is one member to take a liking and things can change quickly for them. It's still summer and in my many years here things tend to slow a bit before picking back up in the Fall, let's hope this is the case.

People don't tip or private anymore simply because its all they hear when entering most rooms. Model: what's your name? Member: T Model: let's go private. Hmmm, wow what a complicated post... not just the one I am quoting, but the topic in general. I feel as a performer, I definitely try to get to know the individual that comes in my room. Whether you're silent or you chat a lot, I am curious to know who you are. The reason I feel it is complicated is because of this:

1. A lot of people who come in my room are looking for sex, they talk immediately about my dick, its size, if I'm hard, and all before even asking me how I am...
2. Personally, I only ask for privates for two reasons, one being I am EXTREMELY horny myself haha so I am anxious for someone to pull me into private and spend time with me so we can BOTH enjoy ourselves, the second reason I would ask to be taken to private, is if there has been someone in my room for hours, chatting with me, or not, and I feel I'm ready to be taken...

However, I know what you are talking about because I have gone into other performers rooms, especially the ones from other countries (no offense to them) and have seen them straight up be like take me to private, immediately...

My issue is when I have a room FULL of people 70+ and I have NO ONE saying a word, at that point what can I do... I try to start conversations, but it is almost as if I am talking to a wall... I feel that out of all the performers on here, I think I engage A LOT, and I really try my hardest to please everyone. I allow basic users AND guests, to chat in my room with me, and in fact I encourage it because someone talking is better than no one talking.

It is offensive to me when someone is going to come in my room and call me boring because I'm not butt naked, and demanding me to get undressed... I mean a tip would be nice, a power boost, or if you are really feeling me, then take me to private. I'm not a toy, I am a human with feelings, and just because I am on a site dedicated to sex, doesn't mean that is all it needs to be about... Whatever happened to forming connections, what happened to love, interaction, communication?? I think I work my ass off, maybe sometimes more than others and not because of getting naked, but because I interact, which MANY models lack... yet these so called non- interactive performers are the ones at the top...

That being said, if you are looking for a performer who actually cares if you are satisfied, cares about your feelings, and wants to create a bond with you, then come see me

Tipping 200 or more models per shift would be a mighty expensive
way to make the spark come back :winkwink

In the days of wine and roses we had just a couple of dozen
excellent models that stayed around for a long time not just overnight
guests that will be gone before you can say PRIVATE...

Variety and abundance don't equate with quality... :drinkup

Besides there are hundreds of sites that offer the same services
while the days of "the spark" this site offered not just the best but
the ONLY place for quality models.. :thumbsup

This is not new. This has been going on for years.

With 150 models online at the same time, the competition is incredible. The bottom 75 are desperate to stay online without being booted off. Hence the repeated "take me pvt" requests.

Some of the top 75 are almost TOO successful, and Louis has mentioned several times that he has not been able to go pvt with some of his favourites because so many other guys want to take them pvt at the same time.

In another topic I admitted to Louis that I may not have quite the same buzz from my latest pvt shows that I did from my first show (although I'm pleased to say my last pvt show was wonderful).

Before suggesting that the spark has gone out of Flirt4Free I think we should consider whether the spark has gone out of ronnie-uk, gofish, deafTN, louisphillippe and other long standing F4F members...

There are masses of newer members who don't use this forum (and I wish they would. We members, and performers, really should try to make the forum more interesting and entertaining for them). They are enjoying the never-ending selection of lovely male performers here. There are many potential members who haven't joined yet, for whom the spark is about to be ignited. I wish I was in their shoes .... :winkwink

In another thread, a member (Intrepid51, I think?) mentioned that after seeing a model climax 2-3 times, the novelty has worn off. In that sense, if members are looking for constantly renewed interest and not finding it, then perhaps the SPARK, as gofish puts it, has gone out.

However, Intrepid51 also said that it is because we make connections with the models that the spark does NOT dim for us, and that we continue to take our favorites private to do more than just watch them jerk off.

To answer gofish's question...no, for me Flirt's SPARK has not gone out. Because I rarely take models into private for anything sexual, because we spend time talking and getting to know each other, for me at least it is not fireworks and skyrockets, but a steadily burning candle flame that may flicker occasionally (and sometimes it does get extinguished, unfortunately) but always resumes its constancy. (Whether the models feel the same way, I do not know.)

Have to say the responses on this thread are fantastic.
There are a lot of performers on the site worth checking out. The intent of the thread with to get people talking about this site. Getting the performers involved. Ted's comment really hit on some of the problems on the site and yes it is not about seeing a performer naked that keeps the spark going.
I think both members and performers have to take things to a higher level to make this site a really classy site worth visiting.
Just my opinion of course.

I have to say Ronnie you did hit the nail on the head. The "spark" from flirt has left me. I am rarely on anymore and when I am I tend to be rude to most models I visit(because of the constant let's go private or tips me please). a few are worth saying hi to but even now they are few and far between. Some of the older ones who have lasted for years and a couple of new ones are all I fool with now
