I have just finished reading, it was so bad! I wasted my time and I agree "Secretary" is much better!

Would rather scoop my eyeballs out with a rusty spoon then fill the sockets with bleach, whil tap dancing through a lion enclosure of a zoo while wearing a suit made from uncooked steaks.

A lot of people may not like the movie because the book might be, or is better, find the movie offensive, and disturbing due to the sex scenes including with, and concerning bondage. People, whom have read the book, and seen the movie may like the movie better, than, and not the book.

I listened to the soundtrack, and it isn't a bad one.

I watched the movie on blu-ray, and I liked, and enjoyed it. Without saying, and giving away too much.

As many people know that visit my chatroom I prefer not to read fictional books, especially main stream books. I am however, a complete movie buff and had to see this! I watched it and loved it!! My panties were...lets say not functional after it was over lol It was very sensual and sexually interesting. I understand it is not for everyone, but it was to my delight for I enjoy playing around with bondage from time to time. I always feel like a little girl scout tying myself up lol Cant wait for part 2!

Just rented this movie on Netflix out of curiosity. I would say that the models on this site are a thousand times more beautiful than the actress who portrayed Ana Steele.
Most of the women who have seen the film have said they loved it, while the men have said they couldn't stand it. So I wanted to see it to evaluate it myself. She walks out on Christian in the end, so it's not a pleasant or good ending as far as movie endings go. Christian doesn't consider himself a sadist, but in truth that is exactly what he is into. His Red Room was specifically made for torture, not just sexual "domination." Many times in the film he says he is not interested in romance or normal dates, and he can't ever bring himself to admit any feelings for Ana. And the "L" word is especially forbidden. He just wants hard core domination sex, with no emotion or special connection at all. Which is not really a relationship with any real meaning. No wonder Ana leaves him.
I would assume the book ends the same way. Not that I would ever read any of the three books in the trilogy.

Never had the chance to see it. But heard it does portray men as bad and pinks as saints. I do wonder how many pink people would buy into that propaganda.

I read, and saw that "Fifty Shades Darker" might not have as much, or hardly any bondage in it.
