You are back in a golden age. Where there are no intrusions. It is just you and someone who cares about you.

That's how I see you. Just a big fuzzy puppy. Innocent. Cute. Wagging a bushy tail.

Hear the rain on the roof? That crinkling sound is the sound of people wrapping presents... just for you!
I 'll massage your poor tired fingers. I'll warm your cold toes. I keep forgetting it's practically winter now. You poor red nosed dear.

I mean there is the whole citizen side of the gifts you bestow. What would Society be without you? Your family too. You took care of all the issues those randos dreamt up. Government didn't even have to lock any of them up this time! Yay for you and all you do!
If we could wrap you in fur and snip your fingernails... you'd be that doggy in the window!

The Man tells you that you must do this and that. All the street is crammed with signs. Your head is dizzy from passwords, combos, rules, cyphers.
You can't sit down on a bench without feeling that your hands need to be fumbling with something. You can't look at a scene without getting some utility out of it.
You are confined to small spaces with strange people you don't understand. They come into your space and start demanding this or that constantly. You just want to stay home and make babies.
Being a k1d seemed kinda sucky but fun at times. You couldn't wait to be an adult. Now you kinda wish you were still a k1d. Unless you got lots of power. Yeah! Except nobody gets you now that you are the boss. Or maybe they get you too much and seem so fakey and you can never quite escape.
It is hard being you. I know. I can see how it must be. You can't be too hard on yourself.

No I didn't mean sitar. See... this has the head of a guitar and the body of a singed tom tom. Or whatever.
You hold it high with the left hand and stroke it low with the right and it goes:
boiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggggggg
then you switch and it goes....
biiiiyooiiiiiiiiiiiing
First saw it in the Kush. But don't trouble yourself with that story. Just relax. Stretch out on my wombalatussa.

That music? Oh yeah there is this big friendly club just down the street from my place. It seems to take off around this time each week. I don't really know. I've never been. Not really my thing you know.
You sure look mighty fine in those heels though wow! You are going out? Wow. It is after 9. My best sleepin' time. I love getting up at 5 am and puttering around before doing my laundry as soon as I can about 6 am. They have this lock on the laundry room door. A timer. Never understood why it is set so late in the morning. I love being the first one in the machine you know!
Well you have fun. The thread will still be here when you're done.
Wow never seen anyone run out the door so fast. Still, quite the exciting time. I think I may stay up until 9:30 tonight!

I'm just watching Watchmen. It is really weird. The author has some bizarre phobias. Don't want to see him near a squid tank. Don't want to watch 20000 Leagues Under the Sea with him.
The last scene was really moving. Captain Nemo looking out through the underwater window as the music played. I can relate. And it had Peter Lorre!
But how are you doing? Feeling better? Whenever I am feeling down I love a good movie with headhunters. They were my favorite part of Gilligan's island! Sorry thinking Jules Verne again.
You are a good person. Don't forget that. Clubs always have you feeling a little seedy afterwards. That's why I don't go to them anymore. I never feel even a smidgen seedy anymore. Can you tell?
I hope you left your cell phone at home. You certainly shouldn't be talking loudly about your intimate secrets on one. Never turns out well.
You can talk loudly to me in here. Do you like talking loudly? There are other things we can do that are pretty loud.
OOOO shhhh shhhh it just got to a suspenseful bit. Looks like the old double-cross! Here's some popcorn check it out. I am sure it is gonna get really weird! Quote

I gotta warn you. This conversation is going to be continuous. No jumps to make it more interesting. I tried adding jumps and messing with continuity. But it upset my tummy. So I don't do that anymore.
You will find this actually makes some things nicer. There was this great bit from a great book about the best of times and the worst of times, or whatever. It was all one shot. One continuous thing. Gotta say... it worked.
Oh for some reason I have been finding Thomas Paine very comforting. He is not an analyst or anything. He doesn't work in bites. It is kind of hard to explain. Would you believe he can drone on and on for four hours without a break? But it works. At least for me. Right now. Got up and cheered during one bit of something he was saying recently. You find that those really skilled with the language can pull something like that off. But well, frankly, he also has something real to say. It helps.
It is a tragedy to be ever a scoundrel. There is something so wonderful you give up forever. How can a simple man talk about such deep things in a random conversation? Without imposing?
There was a time when people gathered in their most intimate spaces to spend some moments on such things. They relaxed even as they labored. Their faces grew serious but warm as they indulged. Their things lay idle in the corners as their minds soared. Their hearts opened and lifted.
To love you best I will abandon fear. I promise. Now *kiiiiiiiisss* never forget the good hearts .

Then I have something for you to consider. One thing to look for in a man that will make a long term relationship easier.
Is he at peace? In other words is he philosophically stable. It doesn't mean that he has an easy life. But no matter what happens is he grounded? Has he built his castle on granite or sand?
If you are involved with the opposite it is kind of like living with a wounded animal. You will have to endure moans and mental anguish, have to deal with the perpetual agony of the one who cannot find peace.
If he gains power he is still jealous of those he persecutes because on some level no matter what he does they have that peace, that order, that rightness that he can never know. Because I think many of us find our way and the spectacularly wounded souls are rarer. It is a great thing when such a painful sufferer suddenly sees a way and rights himself. But honestly, that is something that happens rarely enough you will remember its occurrence well.
I know that you will be wise with your heart. And not pick up a burden you cannot carry. Your choices of course are what make you unique and memorable. I am rooting for you. Never doubt it.
